We all have heard that Consistency is the key to success, but have you ever taken the time to really think about this idea?

 

Consistency is key when trying to establish and maintain new habits; no matter how big or how small, your professional habits or even personal habits. The definition of a “habit” is a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up. This is why here at J.I.P. & Associates we are so careful with our training and make sure that every team member is learning great habits from day 1!

 

Here are a few ways to improve your consistency today!

  1. Setting achievable and realistic goals
  2. Breaking your goals into smaller tasks that you can complete over time
  3. Creating a plan to stay on track
  4. Use reminders, such as setting alarms or writing notes, to help keep yourself accountable
  5. Reward yourself for the progress you make and don't be too hard on yourself if you slip up – every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow.

 

We believe if you change your habits, you can hit any goal you set, but you need to make it a focus of yours. Don’t keep putting this off saying “well I’m just not good at that” or “It wasn’t meant to be” those are all excuses and 2023 is the year we stop making excuses and we start taking action!
